It was a big night for the 620 guests invited to the ADreach VIP launch at The Venue in Melrose Arch on the 5th of May. With headline act Parlotones rocking the house, R250 000 in prizes given away and a non-stop flow of drinks and food, the ADreach VIP launch was the place to be.
The plush 2 storey Venue was the perfect setting for a night to remember. ADreach was intent on creating a thrilling atmosphere and achieved it. The entertainment line-up included Chix with Stix, First project, Koldproduk, DJ Spiro and a dazzling performance by the Parlotones.
The event culminated in the handing out of three trips to Mauritius worth R30 000 each, four Rado watches worth R10 000 each, limited edition Christina Van Loveren wine sets and Schwarzkopf hampers. Kalee Karsten from AML was the lucky winner of the grand prize valued at R100, 000, which included, apart from a holiday and watch, R30,000 cash and R30,000 worth of street pole advertising.
According to ADreach National Sales Manager, Mark Castel, "The event showcased the progress ADreach has made in product innovation and improved systems to enable us to provide a truly leading service to our clients. It was also an awesome opportunity to let our hair down and party with our clients, which we certainly did".
An innovative goodie bag was also handed out to all guests at the event. The bag itself was made from recycled ADreach Supalite ads, which benefits both the environment and the craftspeople it provides employment for. Inside the bag was a top of the range set of Schwarzkopf hair care products – designed to leave the guests with a lasting impression.
Vanessa Bond, ADreach JHB Sales Manager, was pleased with the success of the night: "The overwhelmingly positive feedback from the industry regarding the launch of ADreach as a major player in the outdoor arena stands testament to the fact that ADreach is going to continue to grow and contribute significantly to the landscape".
Another novel idea at the launch was developed by Fikelela Marketing Solutions, in association with Popimedia - this involved the use of Facebook to register guests wanting to be eligible for the grand prize. By gaining the permission of guests, ADreach was able to connect with their friends on Facebook – resulting in a video clip being sent out to an impressive 95,000 people.
With as much impact as their street pole ads, ADreach was able to create an event that will live long in the memories of the guests. ADreach CEO, Brad Fisher summed up the event:
